LITTLE BABY GABRIEL was born 18 November 2006 at 5:55 Pm. on 3rd floor weighing 7 Lb 11 Oz. with a 1) CONGENITAL DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA (CDH)- a hernia in his diaphram which caused all his vital organs to go up into his chest cavity pushing his heart over to right side under his armpit & his lungs squished together on right side causing 2)UNDERDEVELOPED & COLLAPSED LUNGS (1 don't work at all while other is half collapsed & only recently started expanding), & a 3) CONGENITAL HEART DEFECT-(a hole in his heart-called 'BLUE BABIES'). When born, he had trouble breathing, & Dr's whisked him immediately away from us. Little Baby Gabriel had been in 3 states & 3 hospitals within 3 days- the last he had to be helicoptered to in a desperate attempt to save his life. He was put on ECMO machine which did stabalize him finally. We wouldn't be aloud to meet our Beloved Gabriel for 3 days! He has to be protected from 1) Light 2) Sound & 3) Touch as any stimulation could set off his vital signs. He was operated on 27 Nov. 2006 for 3 hours which was successful in putting his vital organs back where they belong but his hernia was so large they couldn't seal it so they improvised using his abdominal wall to act as a barrier. He developed blood clots on 01 Dec & had severe swelling that they were unable to get undercontrol so they put him on dangerous medicine that could shut down his kidneys & a DYALISIS type machine in another attempt to save his precious life.
