Trench Warfare (Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Finale Spoilers)

When I watched the season 2 finale I couldn't stop thinking about two Paintings I've seen/studied. One is by Paul Nash, the other is by a man who I literally can't remember the name of right now. But it is of the trenches. And its amazing. And it's in the Tate. You can also say this was edited because of war horse and how I wished that film contained a shot as beautiful as the one in this show. This is basically an ode to post war modernism. But of course an ode to boardwalk empire. I thought the trench shots and the end of this season were beautifully devistaing, I also think this song is quite perfect for Jimmy Darmody and Nucky Thompson. And Yes it's from 1930 but hey, I'm posting this on youtube on a computer.
