The MrMen cartoons were aired from 1975 to 1978. They were narrated by Arthur Lowe. These are based on the books. These are the 2 series. And Little Miss cartoons were aired in 1983. The series aired the same year in America and ended production in 1997. It was all the Little Miss stories, they were narrated by John Alderton and Pauline Collins (Arnold Stang in America). In the first part of this video is Mr Uppity: Mr. Uppity lives in Bigtown and he is very rich. He is rude to everybody (they call him Miserable old Uppity) until one day he meets a goblin. When he is rude to the goblin, the goblin shrinks Mr. Uppity so he can fit into a hole in a tree, and they enter the tree to meet the King of the Goblins. The goblin agrees to shrink Mr. Uppity if he is rude to somebody. This happens, until Mr. Uppity is nice. In the end, he's still rich, but now he's very popular. He most frequently uses the words, "Please" and "Thank you." Hargreaves says, "Thank you for reading this story, and if you're ever thinking about being rude to somebody, please keep a sharp lookout for goblins." In the second part of this video is Little Miss Splendid: Miss Splendid, lives in a mansion, with a golden bathtub and thinks she is better than everyone else. When she goes to town and sees a new hat in the window of a store that she simply must have, she buys it. When she's walking home, her friends ask her if she wants to take the bus she refuses. It starts to rain and it ruins her new hat, but ...
