Morris Stoloff - Moonglow & Theme From "Picnic" (Original Stereo)

The music is the backdrop for one of the great scenes in cinematic history from the 1955 film "Picnic" starring William Holden and Kim Novak. Morris Stoloff (who headed the music for Columbia Pictures) intertwines the "Love Theme from Picnic" with "Moonglow" to marvelous results so much so that it became the #1 song in the US in April of 1956.
