Classic episode (MISFIT) of the 1959 cop series THIS MAN DAWSON which starred Keith Andes as an intense ex-Marine who is in charge of the police department in an un-named city. His character's intensity is akin to an earlier version of Jack Lord's portrayal of Steve McGarrett in the all-time classic Hawaii Five-0. Also interesting is the opening sequence which is similar to the mid-sixties cop show Felony Squad which also shows the same building and has similar narration. THIS MAN DAWSON narration was by William Conrad and William Woodson plays Keith Andes right hand man, but Woodson is more famous as the narrator of the opening titles of THE INVADERS.
