1962 US movie about Ukrainian cossacks (kozaks), starring Tony Curtis and Christine Kaufman. A Harold Hecht production, music by Franz Waxman and lyrics by Mack David. This song at 37 minutes in the film reflects the style of Ukrainian female harmony singing. She is a Polish princess, the couple meet while he is attending a Polish school, and then conflict arises between the Poles and Ukrainians.
