TCM's Ben Mankiewicz interviewing Tippi Hedren before the screening of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" in St. Louis, MO at the Hi-Pointe Theatre. This is a brief clip where Tippi mentions her costumes by Edith Head, and how, as a newcomer to acting, Hitchcock gave her acting lessons to prepare her for her forthcoming role in The Birds. See Part 3 for more of Tippi's insight of making this film. I didn't record the entire interview.
