Montreal Memories - an ode to a poignantly vibrant city (by the Gipsy Geek)
gipsygeek.wordpress.com A short film dedicated to my favourite city where I lived and worked for many years as an architect. I made this to capture both Montreal's unique poignancy and vibrancy. Based on my photographs through my years there (with a few additional photos by friends as indicated in the credits.) The apartment featured is on Ridgewood Avenue where my balcony opened out to the forest of the Mont Royal summit. The featured music pieces on this video are 'Oblivion' (violin - Joshua Bell; bandoneon - Carel Kraayenhof) & 'All of Me' by Jazz great Lester Young (tenor sax), Teddy Wilson (piano), Jo Jones (drums), Gene Ramey (bass) To see more of my videos and writings go to gipsygeek.wordpress.com For those who are full of paradoxes and too many interests....and have a geeky brain and a gipsy heart. Copyright. The Gipsy Geek.
