STEVE: My name is Steve Howey and at the moment I'm Acting Head Coach LEWIS: We do fitness training then team work, team gelling, team bonding. Then us play a game against the other colleges, we also have a bit of fun on a Friday just playing team games. STEVE: Once we've got the basics rigth then we look at more things towards how we're thinking about the football game, how we think about the match. Positional sense, you know where should I be as an individual at any given time. And we just try and progress them on in that way really. LEWIS: Since I first joined The Academy I feel like I've improved so much. JOSH: I'm Josh Smith I'm in the Rugby Academy. LIAM: My name is Liam Gumbrill I'm the Head Rugby Coach at East Durham College. The aim of the Academy is for every player to come through and actually leave the development centre as a better player. JOSH: We have games on Wednesdays, team run-throughs on Tuesday, fitness on Wednesdays, and Fridays are mostly mixed but mostly we do strength and conditioning.
