If the rumored deal goes through, it would let one of the world's worst employers into our city: killing local jobs, threatening small businesses, and stifling workers' voices on the job. So far Related has refused repeated invitations to participate in public forums to listen to East New Yorkers who oppose Walmart. Community members from across the city are concerned that Related might also ignore them in its many developments citywide.
