On Sunday, June 12, 2011 the 52 year-old actor was standing up for his companion, 22 year-old Playboy bunny April Summers, when a fellow pub reveler made some rude comments about her nude modeling. The altercation took place outside of Camden's Hill Bar and Brasserie when Bean and Summers were smoking. Bean confronted the man, who left, but returned shortly after, at which point the argument turned physical. Bean was reportedly punched in the face and stabbed in the arm with broken glass. Despite his wounds, Bean refused to go to the hospital and instead opted for the pub's first aid kit. Once he was patched-up, Bean lived up to his cinematic tough-guy persona by ordering another drink and continuing to enjoy his evening.
