A Trip to the Zoo, Part 1

Various pictures of the animals at Potter Park Zoo and the Detroit Zoo. (You are NEVER too old to have realistic stuffed animals, and it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman, a boy or a girl. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with collecting them. I think they look good.) The background colors of each of the slides indicate the types of biomes or environments each animal is found in. Use the chart/list below to determine which color represents which biome/environment. For instance, the color of the "African Lion" slide is gold, and by looking at the chart/list, "Gold" refers to "Savanna/Tropical Grasslands & Woodlands." So, the African lion is found in that particular biome/environment. Sand/Peach - Sandy Deserts Tannish Brown - Deserts/Desert Scrub/Semideserts Gold - Savanna/Tropical Grasslands & Woodlands Dark Green - Rainforests Teal Green - Dry, Humid Tropical Forests Forest Green - Temperate Forests/Woodlands Light Green - Temperate Grasslands/Prairies Light Purple - Boreal Forests/Tundra Light Blue - Polar Regions Teal - Marine/Wetlands Gray - Highlands/Mountainous Regions Brown - Farm Animals
