The American-bred five-year-old only got into the race at the eleventh hour following the withdrawal of Mingun Temple, and was an unconsidered 12-1 shot. He swooped from well off the pace to take the lead inside the final furlong and ran home an easy winner from his half-brother John Brian. Show Me The Money, under seven-time Woodbine, Toronto, champion jockey Patrick Husbands finished fifth.
