Imagine if Obama had some pastor who hunted witches in Africa and helped him in first political victories. Palin gets a complete pass on this weirdo pastor while the media went into an ape-fit over Rev. Wright. Rev. Wright, btw, is a decorated Marine. That never got mentioned, though.
