A Visit To The Filming Locations Of Raggedy Man
This video is a tribute to the filming locations of the wonderful film "Raggedy Man" starring Sissy Spacek, Eric Roberts, & Sam Shepard. The film takes place in Gregory, Texas, but was actually filmed in Maxwell, Texas, which is just east of San Marcos. I took a road trip down that way on October 1st, 2009. Alot of the little town still looks the same. The main house that was used is still standing, but has been moved from its original location on 5th street to the other side of the train tracks. It is easily noticeable because of its bright yellow color. Unfortunately the saloon that Eric Roberts gets into a fight in burned to the ground a few years back. The concrete slab is still there, as well as the sidewalk. wwnations@yahoo.com
