PLEASE READ: This tribute is in memory of the talented and wonderful Rue McClanahan. She was truely one of a kind and helped make The Golden Girls what it was and still is today. Sadly Rue passed away on June 3rd 2010. I was completely shocked and devastated; I had known she had been sick off and on the last few months of her life - but didn't think she was that sick. So in our Golden Girls memory and celebrating her life and career, I made this tribute for her. The fact she didn't want a funreal shows she would not want us to be sad, but it's so hard not to be. But we can always remember that although Rue is gone, Blanche and the countless other charectors she wonderfully potrayed over the years, never ever will be gone. She'll be our Golden Girl forever, and I'm sure Rue, Bea and Estelle are all enjoying a cheesecake in heaven =) lol. RIP Rue, Bea and Estelle. Long live The Golden Girls!
