From the BBC drama starring Hugh Dancy, Romola Garai, Jamie Bamber, and Jodhi May. Title and end credits music: Act II: 'Cavatina' from Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro). This piece was recorded for Daniel Deronda featuring singer Jenny Burn. Mirah Lapidoth: The character Mirah sang several times during the drama. The two main pieces were: Excerpts from Mendelssohn's On Wings of Song and an arrangement of Beethoven's Ah! Perfido, Op.65. Mirah's lullaby was an original composition by Rob Lane. www.pbs.org
