Even though this relationship is totally immoral and self-destructive, the passion between them is so terrific it deserves its own music video. The original story is far less romantic than it seems here -- Mary actually seduces him in an attempt to escape an Australian penal colony and when he finds out the truth he is, shall we say, Less Than Pleased. As a disclaimer, I don't really recommend the movie -- it's far too graphic, particularly in its depiction of what happened to female prisoners the night after they reached the settlement. But... tis pretty.
