The official release date in the UK is now September 9, 2009. The US release date has not been confirmed yet. Dorian Gray tells the story of a corrupt young man who remains eternally young and handsome as long as a special painting of him remains unharmed. The story, directed by Oliver Parker (Fade to Black / Othello / I Really Hate My Job), is based upon the supernatural thriller written by Oscar Wilde. It stars Ben Barnes (aka Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) as Dorian Gray and Colin Firth (The Last Legion / Bridget Joness Diary) as Lord Henry Wotton. Based on Oscar Wilde's 1891 novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray."
