A Singing Experiment, Using Time after Time, Repeated Over a 13 Semitone Range incl Different Styles

This video contains several successive renditions of "Time after Time," sung over a 13 semitone range at most of the different pitches including a self-duet an octave apart. The versions are sung in either a light "pop" style or with an operatic approach, adding another variable to this experiment. The operatic versions are sung more in the mask (sinuses), while the pop versions, more numerous in this experiment, put more emphasis on the mouth cavity. A few more notes about this difference of approach are in the slides accompanying the video. This is an amateur rendition of a song, which, according to the Wikipedia, is "a jazz standard, written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne. It was first introduced by Frank Sinatra (and subsequently by Kathryn Grayson in the 1947 movie It Happened in Brooklyn). It is also popular within the Barbershop scene. The song was featured near the end in the 2009 Nora Ephron film, Julie & Julia." The piano accompaniment track is played by my friend and singing coach, Diane Schmolka, except that the various pitches were derived through a pitch shift off of the original version using an audio editing program. This video is dedicated to my wife, as well as to Leo and Francine, for whose 40th Wedding Anniversary video I learned and rendered this song.
