I worked at a restaurant for a few years, and the servers would often frequent the nearby bar after we closed. One evening, I was in when Nick Swardson (stand-up, Reno 911, Grandma's Boy, etc) showed up after playing a show at the Improv (a comedy club next door). I approached him and ended up drinking / talking with him for a quite a while, even making a handshake with me he called "fireworks"! He was really nice in person, more or less exactly like he is in his films. Actually, he doesn't seem to turn "off" - but he was very gracious & humble, even buying a couple of rounds for myself & close friends. It was an extremely fun night & quite a cool moment for a celebrity!
