"No Particular Place to Go" is a song by American singer-songwriter and guitarist Chuck Berry. It featured on Berry's 1964 album St. Louis to Liverpool and reached number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. It tells the story of a date which goes wrong due to a malfunctioning safety belt. It is set to exactly the same tune as his earlier hit, "School Days". Its testament to Berry's great songwriting catalogue, that his music is still so widely played and covered today. We love to play Chucks songs and they always go down really well with an audience, regardless of age. The feel on this was brilliant and Mal, my lead guitar played some unreal guitar, as did Aaron(drummer) and Micheal(bass). I decided to start by singing a little Guy Mitchell tune'Pretty Little Black Eyed suzie,' just to keep the lads on their toes lol
