Before I ramble on, can I just thank Rachel (racho14luvser) for giving me the inspiration to make this video! I've been thinking about making a Lorelai/Emily for a long time, but never quite knew how I wanted to go about it? But after watching her beautiful video (www.youtube.com the idea came to me. The song that I've used, I had in my mind for a while. I was originally going to make this song to a Parenthood video, but someone beat me to that! And I'd rather not duplicate a song to the same show, especially when their video is already so amazingly done. I loved the relationship between Lorelai and Emily. They've certainly had their fair share of ups and downs, and admittedly it's usually all Emily's doing! (even though at times I think Lorelai isn't completely blame less!) The episode for me where she crosses the line is, 'The Party's Over', in season 5. I get so cross at her for throwing that party for Rory, behind Lorelai's back! Saying all this, I didn't want to make a whole video just about them. I wanted to add Rory into the mix, and show her relationship with Lorelai, because for me that's my favourite Mother Daughter combo! One thing I did struggle with is what voice overs to use. I hope that I've chosen the right ones? Because there were so many, it was finding the ones that fitted this song best. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video?
