Alex O'Loughlin has said that first and foremost, Steve McGarrett is a Navy Seal. We may forget or it recedes from our minds and the eps of Hawaii Five-0 some. But, then episodes like Ki'ilua remind us that the show is very militarily backed. It was touching to see members of the Seal team, that Steve and Joe helped, more than willingly went along on a dangerous mission to save the man who saved them. And we're also reminded what a strong, close knit family, Ohana, that 5-0 is.
