To celebrate Mom's birthday, the girls (minus the men and children) booked an overnight stay at Fitzpatrick Hotel at Grand Central Station in New York City. We had a few jars in the pub before heading out to dinner at Fresco - great food and deserts!!! We took in the Broadway show Mamma Mia - it was fantastic - you didn't know whether to laugh, cry, sing or dance. The next morning we took in the sights - St. Pat's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center site, and a park built, with all plants, rock / stone from Ireland, in tribute to the Irish Famine. Before heading home, we stopped off in Yonkers at "Eileen's" for an Irish breakfast. Mom, hope you had a great birthday and many more!!! Barbara, Nancy, and Kathy.
