Kathleen Collins Traditional Irish Music CD Launch
Kathleen Collins recently launched her latest CD entitled "Kathleen Collins: My Book of Songs" on November 20, 2009 at Glucksman Ireland House in New York City. Playing with Kathleen are Gabriel Donohue, Will Collins, and Doug Lamer. Kathleen has an incredible irish music history, being the first American woman to win a senior All-Ireland fiddle championship at the 1966 Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann held in Boyle, County Roscommon. Kathleen teaches traditional Irish music and set dancing at various venues in New York.
