Kathleen Mavourneen - Cornet Solo

Simple notes but powerful melody, one of my favour....I don't know what it is but the melody makes me really emotional. I recorded with my Cornet in 2005. "Kathleen Mavourneen" is a song, written in 1837, composed by Frederick Crouch with lyrics by Marion Crawford. It was popular during the American Civil War. "Mavourneen" is a term of endearment derived from the Irish Gaelic mo mhuirnín, meaning "my beloved."
