At this stage we see the lessons Wynne has taught him, and the many self-taught principles Galanan acquires through his journey are applied when he rescues Queen Anora. He distrusts her, that much is certain - but the way he handles himself is profession at least to the point where he finds Howe. When that takes place, he returns to the feral, angry, rebelious nature he had when he first left the Alienage.
