This instrumental version was created by SnowWolf www.sheezyart.com This music plays in Episode 2 when Toboe is with Leara, and Toboe instinctively, though unintentionally kills her Hawk. The music though not featured on the any of the wolf's rain soundtrack, is among the most touching in the series. The song is also featured in a variation in episode 29 as Toboe is dying. The formal name of the song is called "Maligno Ton Negro lo Matar" 'The Evil Shade of Black that Kills'. It is not made entirely clear what the lyrics refer to, but is possible an indirect reference to Darica as his love Harmona, died "That one, that one, my dearest yonder " but perhaps the song is mentioning all of the tragic death's in the series, that were "killed yet mystifies" as all the characters strive to reach Paradise despite their losses.
