Police have charged a man in connection with the death of a man in Carnoustie two months ago. The body of 59 year old Tony English was found at his home in the town's Kinloch Street in December. A 44 year old man was taken into custody this morning. Late this afternoon, Tayside Police confirmed he's been charged. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. In other news; A man who abused and tried to rape young girls in Dundee more than a decade ago has been jailed for eight years. The High Court in Edinburgh heard that John Winks began to molest one of his victims when she was only four years old. The 53 year old from Forfar was found guilty after trial of attempted rape and indecency offences against three girls between 1993 and 2001. And in sport; St Johnstone are set to sign former Aberdeen and Hibs defender Michael Hart. The thirty two year old is close to agreeing a deal that will keep him in Perth until the Summer. Hart's a free agent after being released by Hibernian in January.
