This is another one of those albums that kind of stuck in my head all these years...I have been pulling out some old albums and playing them like I did for years and years...I just love getting out my old albums,,we now call vinyl. I remember watching John Hartford sit in the background with his banjo on the Glen Campbell Show. Just having some fun tonight. This is not a great video,,just a memory for me and anyone else who maybe got introduced to Mr. John Hartford. Thanks..~sanjosemailman~ for your encouragement and love for the vinyl...It filmed a little dark...but, the wonderful thing about this video is that I found this stereo in a trash pile by the side of the road....the radio still works...the glass tubes are still working..I love my ole stereo...reminds me when dad brought our first record player in a cabinet home...oh happy day...;-) thank you for appreciating... Aereo-Plain is American musician John Hartford's groundbreaking bluegrass album released in 1971.[1] The music is an inspired blend of traditional bluegrass musicianship, and the hippie spirit of the '70s. Though Aereo-Plain sold poorly and Warner Bros. decided not to promote his next release Morning Bugle at all, the album has been called the forerunner of the genre now known as "Newgrass".
