Growing up with my mother, as my mom is one of the best gifts that God has ever given me. She raised four girls with out much money. Throughout my life I always wanted to do something for her, to give back something that she gave me which was priceless. I noticed growing up that she would always be insecure about one thing and that was her smile. When she would giggle she would put her little hand over her mouth to laugh and also when she would talk she would talk with her mouth kind of closed and it killed me. Last year extreme makeover, I do not remember if I got a hold of them or they got a hold of me, I think it was a mutual timing thing, but I wanted to give her a beautiful smile. They were able to do that. I am so thankful to God that she was in the right hands. Dr. Lodding was the angel that came down that I asked for to be there for my mom. She has always been terrified of the dentist. I mean, so terrified that I do not think that she ever went. When she met Dr. Lodding she felt so incredibly comfortable and at ease. I knew that this was going to turn out great. The last thing that I wanted to do was to hurt my mom or cause her pain or for anything to get screwed up. Can you imagine wanting to give her the gift of a smile and not having her be in the right hands. When I found out that Dr. Lodding was going to be doing her smile, I met him and KNEW immediately that she was in great hands. Just today I saw my mom's smile for the first time and it took my breath away ...
