I am a massive Jim Rome Fan and have listened to his Show since 1996. Since the age of email, I have attempted to have one of my emails read on his Show. On July 7th, 2010, after almost 14 years of trying, I had an Email read on The Jim Rome Show, even though it was not read by Rome but rather his guest host, Jay Mohr. I have to say I am impressed with myseldf for the laugh that Jay gives after reading my email (Around the 0:04 mark, for a complete second). Outside of John Feinstein, Jay Mohr is by far the best guest host Jim has. If you dont laugh at Jay's Tracy Morgan impersonations, I dare say you will never laugh at anything. To set up the email being read: Jay was discussing how people always brag on their kids by saying "Look at my boy, his such a ladies man" or "Look at my baby girl, shes such a flirt". Jay went on to say something to the affect of this: "I have a 3 year old Son, I guarantee you that your son is not a ladies man and your daughter is not a flirt.... since when is drooling on yourself and pooping in your diaper flirting?" I sent in the email after he gave his take. It was the next to last email read on the show. Thank you, Jay Mohr and Thank you Jim Rome. You are the best and listening to your Show is the best part of my Workday!!
