On September 14, 2010, ''People'' magazine quoted reps for Cruz and her husband, actor Javier Bardem, as saying that Cruz is "4 1/2 months pregnant." This will also be the first child for Bardem. Confirmation that Cruz is "with child" comes after weeks of speculation. Earlier in the summer of 2010, the 36-year-old Cruz was photographed in Puerto Rico on the set of ''Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'' sporting what appeared to be a "baby bump." Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas in July of 2010, after dating for several years. Bardem is also an Oscar winner, having taken home a Best Supporting Actor award in 2008 for the drama movie ''No Country for Old Men.'' Cruz won Best Supporting Actress the following year for her role in the Woody Allen comedy ''Vicky Cristina Barcelona.'' While a representative for the famously private couple did confirm Cruz's pregnancy, she offered no further details, except to say that Cruz was "en route to London to complete filming'' of the fourth installment of the ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' movie franchise.
