The colossal project includes three movies and two TV series that will act a bridge for the trilogy. Ya, it's going to be huge. If you're not a big reader, Howard's Dark Tower is based on the best-selling sci-fi/fantasy novels by Stephen King about a roaming cowboy, Roland Deschain. There were doubts budget cautious Universal would pull the project, but Howard said despite budget and story delays, The Dark Tower will still start production, but not at the original September timeline.
