"Athena" trailer (1955)

The first (and only) musical about bodybuilding. Not yet available on DVD, although a marvelous Rhino Records soundtrack album exists. The contestants include: Steve Reeves, Ed Fury, Joe Gold (founder of Gold's Gym) and Irvin 'Zabo' Koszewski . In this story, bodybuilders are vegetarian, clean-living and believe in astrology (!).
