Martin Scorsese went with James Cameron's Real 3D on 3D 2012 Santa Barbara International Film Festival Awards. SBIFF 2012 - American Riviera Award to Martin Scorsese MARTIN SCORSESE RECEIVES AMERICAN RIVIERA AWARD AT SBIFF Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese was presented with the American Riviera Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Monday night in recognition of his influence on American cinema. The award was presented to him by Academy Award-winning actor Ben Kingsley, who worked with him on "Shutter Island" and "Hugo." The presentation followed a retrospective of Scorsese's work moderated by film critic and historian Leonard Maltin.
