James Cameron vs. Paul Levinson the Future of 3D

I feel like the Grinch Who Stole the Third Dimension in this Bloomberg West TV clip, in which James Cameron speaks glowingly about the future of 3-D, and I offer a few provisos. My main point, which didn't show up in the clip, is that our interest in human characters is mostly satisfied by looking at facial expression - the eyes, the lips - and body language, which is conveyed quite effectively in 2-D images. (The clip also has a neat shot of my Fall 2011 graduate Targeted Writing class at Fordham University.)
