Miss Firecracker - Trailer (1989)

Academy Award winner Holly Hunter, acclaimed write, director, actor Tim Robbins, Emmy Award winner Alfre Woodward and Mary Steenburgen star in the touching and romantic comedy adapted by Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henly. Carnelle Scott (Hunter), grew up in the shadow of her cousins (Ribbins and Steenburgen), when she was orphaned at a young age and is therefore desperate to make a name for herself by winning the miss Firecracker Contest in her hometown. However, she learns that with the support of her friends, she doesn't need a crown to be a queen.
