Thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and Ive got the latest on the man of steel! Total Film recently spoke with star Henry Cavill about his role as SUPERMAN in zach snyders man of steel, and we have the details! When asked what type of nutrition plan the big screen hunk was on he said he was on a SUPER diet in order to get the rock solid superhero body. Cavill said, ""I'm on 5000 calories a day... I'm training two and a half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman." When asked how it felt to wear the infamous superman costume, Cavill simply said, "Its extremely cool, theres no other feeling like it!" While Cavill didn't give away any spoilers on the plot, he did confirm that he was focusing on "being as true as I can be to the original character and who the character is." He also mentioned a fact that I didn't even think about...he said that it was an honor to be a BRITT playing an iconic amerian superhero...he said that was when he realized he was doing something right, somewehere. We agree CAVILLS doing something right and we cant wait to see that something when Man of Steel hits the silver screen in the summer of 2013.
