Buster Keaton & Lucille Ball on TV - Nov. 23, 1965

Buster and Lucy became friends when both of them worked on the MGM lot in the 1940's. Here is their only TV appearance together, on the CBS-TV special "Salute to Stan Laurel" (broadcast nine months to the day after Laurel's death). Dick Van Dyke provides an introduction; Harvey Korman plays the irate cop. The unraveling-newspaper gag is from Keaton's 1921 short "The High Sign." -- Visit us on-line at NotTheKeatonSociety.com
