"Christina Green" song by John Rose

I wrote this song in hopes that it may be of some comfort to the Green family as well as the others as they face unimaginable losses. Six days before this tragedy I took my wife and daughter from our Sierra Vista Arizona home to Tucson for a family educational day. Had I known about Congresswoman Giffords' Tucson event on Saturday January 8th, I may well have postponed that outing by six days, and taken my nine year old daughter to meet her on the day of this tragedy. I would like the Green family to know this...you are not alone as you go through this, and we will always remember Christina, as well as the others who were lost. We deeply hope that the recovery of Congresswoman Giffords as well as all the others who were harmed is speedy and complete. -John Rose
