Prewar India, land of dreams ?

According to an old 1937 German reportage India, was the land of dreams. This exotic film was projected as a home movie for families that could only dream of traveling abroad and unaware of the disaster they were going into. I wonder whether all scenes come from India. The last part has a strong resemblance of Hawaii ! Indeed, a viewer informed me that the latter part is from the 1931 German film 'Bora Bora' of director FW Murnau
