Land's End Mansion Demolition
priceypads.com This is the Mansion in Sand's Point that was said to be the inspiration of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby." The home was built in 1902 and sat on 13 acres of oceanfront. It was listed in the late 70's for $2.5 million. Bob Brodsky bought the property for $17.5 million in 2004 and has torn it down as of 2011. It was previously valued at $30 million. He claims they could not afford the upkeep which sits on 13 acres, and it was eventually condemned. Most of the photos are by Jen Ross Photography. jenrossphoto.blogspot.com www.jenrossphoto.com
