You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (2A)
Bat Out of Hell is a 1977 album by singer Meat Loaf, songwriter Jim Steinman, and producer Todd Rundgren that became the fourth best-selling album worldwide behind Michael Jackson's Thriller, AC/DC's Back in Black and Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. It continues to sell approximately 200000 copies per year. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at number 343 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003. Its musical style is influenced by Steinman's appreciation of Richard Wagner, Phil Spector and Bruce Springsteen.
