Award-winning documentary on artist Maynard Dixon (1875-1946). Narrated by DIANE KEATON. Produced/Directed by Jayne McKay. Original music composed and performed by JOHN McEUEN, founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Voice of Dixon performed by DON EDWARDS. Visually rich film profile of the artist, featuring interviews with his friends and family members. Film includes many photographs by Dixon's second wife, famed Depression era photographer, Dorothea Lange. The film is currently screening at film festivals and selected museums.
