Helene meets David Westfield (James Farentino). TRIVIA: James Brolin ("Hotel") was the original casting choice for the role of David, but dropped out at the last moment. One year later, Joan Collins was also forced to replace her original choice for the leading male role in her next mini-series project "Monte Carlo" (Tom Berenger) with George Hamilton. Coincidentally, both men who replaced the original casting choices (Farentino, Hamilton) previously appeared on "Dynasty" romancing (or trying to romance) Collins' on-screen rival Krystle (Linda Evans).
