David Gallagher: GenNext Columbus 2009 Summer Project

Saturday, July 11, 2009 Today we transformed an old 1890s home into the Central Community Houses Center for Art and Community where it will serve as a space for art classes and performances, lectures, community gatherings and celebrations for residents on the near east side.. It was a huge success. And the rain didn't deter anyone's spirits. It made the day less humid and gave us all one more shared experience when looking back on the day's successes. Pictures are posted now at gennextcolumbus.org and on Flickr/photos/gennextcolumbus. Again, thanks to everyone who made this a very wet and wonderful success.
