RED HAIR AND FRECKLES 1929 original PEP BOYS!

Jazzy duo sing with Ukelele Ike's popular "effing" vocals in this wild 1929 talkie short. Max and Harry Nesbitt do their exhuberant Jazz-age stuff with a grand piano and ukelele accompaniment! Then Max does an impersonation to finish out the hot tune! What an age! After the stock market crash, this style of jazz singing ended. This is an audio restoration project which included mending a splice that took out 5 words of the chorus. Now restored and plays through complete again! Enjoy! The piano player is suggested to be Alan Paul.
