Cliff Edwards - Chiquita (1928)

The songwriters of the big #1 Gene Austin (also #1 for Paul Whiteman) hit, "Ramona", tried to replicate its success by writing this song, but "Chiquita" didn't catch on in the same way. Still, it was a #4 hit for Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra in 1928. Recorded July 12, 1928. Written by L. Wolfe Gilbert and Mabel Wayne. The other side of this record is "All of the Time" which I have also posted.
